Beads with Cloud Agents?

Hi folks, I've been using beads solidly for at least 6 months now on all my projects. Love the tool. Thanks Steve for making it and the community for contributing.

My workflow now has a weird hybrid of mainly local Claude Code sessions and occasionally Cloud Agents (usually Cursor - but sometimes Claude Cloud).

I am wondering if anybody has figured out a good system for having Cloud agents work with beads? The only way I've made it work is to have them update the beads json directly and then push that with their changes, then have another agent sync.

If only these agents allowed beads to install in their local environments.

I've been using Grok Bot and having beads installed on the bot's local computer along with Claude Code sessions has been a game changer. Am also about to set up a mac mini with an always on beads sync. But Cloud Agents still a problem - I suspect always will be?

Just came here to ask this exact same question. For my Claude cloud sessions, I have a similar workaround. It sucks. Mainly restricted by the Claude cloud setup that only allows push to that single brach the code came from.
