ℹ️ Sentinel notice — informational; author is trusted (allow-listed bot), merge is not blocked

Hive flagged this PR (author @dependabot[bot], head d6f08fc6a1af) because it matches behaviors that can override security controls, escalate privileges or damage the codebase. This is a heuristic, not an accusation — a maintainer should confirm the change is intended before it merges.

  • sensitive_path — changes 2 sensitive path(s) (Touches a sensitive path (OWNERS, workflows, policies, hive config, security docs, …))
    • package-lock.json
    • package.json

Hive did not add the sentinel-alert label because this author is trusted. The finding remains recorded for audit and the dashboard Security tab; set sentinel.trusted_authors_block: true to require the blocking label for trusted authors too.

Triage of the red build-test on this PR (run 38068101038): not this diff's fault.

js-yaml is a bundled runtime dependency since #411, so the bump changes dist/index.js and the "Verify committed dist/ matches source" gate fails as expected. #390's repack-dist job did its part (changed=true, artifact uploaded), but push-repacked-dist died at actions/create-github-app-token with "The 'client-id' (or deprecated 'app-id') input must be set to a non-empty string" — Secret source: Dependabot, and the Dependabot secrets REPACK_APP_ID / REPACK_APP_PRIVATE_KEY that #390 asked maintainers to add have not been configured.

Nothing in the repo fixes this; a maintainer needs to add those two Dependabot secrets (Settings → Secrets and variables → Dependabot) and re-run the workflow, or hand-push npm run pack as was done for #188 (7e70949). Details recorded on #422 (folded finding comment).

The repack job built dist/ correctly, but push-repacked-dist failed because REPACK_APP_ID and REPACK_APP_PRIVATE_KEY aren't configured as Dependabot secrets. I merged main and pushed the repacked dist/ by hand; it matches a fresh npm run pack, and 2074 tests pass. js-yaml 5.4.3 is a one-fix patch release (whitespace-only block scalars).
