Summary

  • Cache dictionary files in a Map before rendering the README
  • Memoize heading slugs to avoid redoing the same transforms
  • Normalize CRLF frontmatter stripping so generated output remains stable on Windows

Why

The README generator repeatedly re-reads dictionary entries and re-computes heading slugs while rendering the generated docs. Caching the loaded entries and slug results reduces unnecessary work without changing output.

Validation

  • npm run generate
